Keep it simple with BartsParts

The end of the year is approaching fast. In order to wrap up 2022, you're all busy with cycle counts and inventory checks. Maybe you have excess stock laying around that you can't get rid of and want to start the new year with a clean slate. The end of the year is busy enough as it is, and you don't want any extra hassle. That's why we're always working on simplifying processes for you and your buyers. Let's have a look at some of the things we've been working on!

1. Direct connection

Good preparation is half the work. And that's why we're always working hard to simplify the very first step in the process of becoming a dealer. Of course, we sometimes still work with inventory files in Microsoft Excel/CSV that you can share through e-mail. But there are other ways that may fit your needs better. For example, more and more dealers use a direct API connection to their ERP system (for example using the Bever PowerAll/Partslocator or the COS API), whilst others use our SFTP server connection. With a direct connection, your stock is always updated immediately in your virtual warehouse at BartsParts. Moreover, you can very easily expand your inventory with us for immediate sales!

2. Search engine

We offer over 1,000,000 unique and original agro parts, spread over warehouses in more than 20 countries. Before, customers could only search by brand and/or manufacturer parts number (MPN). However, we're about to launch (Go BartsParts IT development team!☺) our fully rebuilt search engine! With this new engine, our customers can search for stock within one or more selected countries, and even shop in specific dealer warehouses. Our customers can save on shipment costs by selecting multiple parts from a single dealer, or buying parts from dealers in their home country. Customers buy more spare parts and save on shipping: More sales, more profit for you!

3. Data

At BartsParts, we love data. It allows us to keep track of sales, our dealers' performance and customers' preferences, and guide us for continuous improvement of our platform. Let's have a look at some of this data. It's no surprise that John Deere, CLAAS and Fendt are some of our most searched for brands, followed by STIHL, New Holland, and Case IH. And that is only a small segment of the 1,600+ brands that are offered by our dealer partners! And did you know that customers prefer shopping with us on Mondays, followed by Tuesdays and Wednesdays? Sales go on 24 hours a day, but peak at 9AM and 1PM. Chances are high that our customers buy their spare parts whilst having their breakfast or lunch. It's as so simple! Sounds interesting, right?
